Ho Hum...

Not a lot to report today, mostly procedural with some house cleaning thrown in to keep someone busy I suspect. The court was unusually quite, could it have been the addition of William Street to mother and Katy's legal team? That would be my guess.

Having just received the breakdown of David's attorney's fee's this morning, a delay was inevitable so as to allow proper time to vet, as well as allowing Mr. Street time to review what has transpired to date. We shall see how things progress on January 29th.

Also, it seems there are rumours swirling about a motion David wants to pursue, I erroring on the side of caution, will refrain from expanding further at this time. Rest assured if and when he goes down that slippery slope, you all will be informed.

It certainly was interesting watching the coming and goings from the judge's chambers. Too bad a couple of the parties had a long drive for...nothing?

We can rest well knowing we have only ever tried for fairness. No deliberate delays, simply fairness. A phone call and a meeting in the very beginning could have kept everything within the family, a smooth transition of ownership was possible if only the other parties had been willing to communicate. Instead... do you think David really wants to send mother to jail???

YES! I think he does. I cannot imagine if he attempts to do this that there will be any resurecting what damage he has already done to his reputation! None. He can kiss everyone he knows goodbye. He's finished anyway. This just gets sadder by the minute.

I think finally we can see fairness make an appearance.

As a former board member/president and longtime Lakesider, I think we all agree that there are two sides to every story, however, it all comes back to selfishness on the part of the one suing a family member to gain control of a piece of property. When that person calls an officer of the law into Lakeside (on Christmas!) to remove his sister from the property, it warrants action on the part of the association. A committee is being formed to decide this course of action. This cannot continue to affect our association as it has.
