Meanwhile...back at the ranch..er, cottage

So we got the ruling that said we could use our cottage. One for the good guys!! They didn't come our way often so, we were happy about that. Meanwhile, Mr. Meyer held a phone conference with Mr. Sturtz and our attorney Mr. Campbell regarding the procedures for selling the cottage.

First, Mr. Meyer requested that both parties provide to him a copy of our appraisals. (we did).

Mr. Meyer stated that he would review both appraisals and make a determination as to whether he would obtain a third. He stated that he would prefer not to incur the additional expense of another appraisal if the two appraisals were fairly close. He also intimated that he might use his discretion in determing which appraisal to use as the standard for the asking price.

He also stated that he would use the same procedures for the sale of the property that were reached by the parties at the last facilitation before David Symons rejected the procedures. He would only change the dates for those procedures in light of the passing of time since the faciltation took place on March 21, 2007.

Ok.. it sounded like a plan at least. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. BIG FAT LIE.

sure is a ranch now. With the big pig and his piglets. Soon to be added more animals. It might have been the origin of the swine flu cause everybody that walks past gets sick

If you catch the symtoms of the "Swine flu" early enough.....they can probably save your life.........but in this case there is no cure for a "Pig mentality"....so beware of this pig farmer and his crew....the infectous nature of the Slymons could spread to you.......it has already infested one cottage family and destroyed all that was good.....

What the whole thing a sham? Designed to make you think the court was playing fair and trying to get the best possible price on the open market-- when really they intended to whore out the cottage exclusively to David C. (u next tuesday)Slymons & camp?

"designed to make you think the court was playing fair..." The court could care less. The court just works that way. I should say, the "court" doesn't work very hard. This type of case is just pesty to the court. The real objective was to do as little as possible and hope everyone just goes away.

"was the whole thing a sham?"..no. It was very real and very frustrating. The real lesson here... the court does NOT care. You are in the hands of a "system". One that seems pretty awful at times. Don't let it happen to you.

Clearly there was no fair and just dispensation of your cottage.

Slymons had the inside track from the get go.

Maybe he was bribing the judge?

Seems it was his intention all along to usurp the cottage for himself, not sell it fairly on the open market.

Yeah no doubt there would have been other bidders who'd of paid more than what Slymdog did.

Still not clear how the Slymey one was able to block other bidders from getting involved.

Something smells very fishy.

Smells fishy? Just hang on.. Mr. Meyer in his infinite wisdom..I mean laziness..did a fine job of screwing things up.

If anyone bid on the cottage all slymons had to do was bid an extra dollar to get it back. What an asshole. But remember to ask permission to go to the lake, since there is no access

"If anyone bid on the cottage all slymons had to do was bid an extra dollar to get it back. "

That is totally unfair! Slymons should not have been able to do that!

Maybe an auction would have been the best way to go?

The process was never followed by Mr. Meyer....and besides with a lot line issue (on the Morley side) anybody that could have bid would have been advised by their own attorney that all issues be resolved....nobody in their right mind wanted to get caught in the middle of the Slymon's attorney circus....if he can't civilly talk to his own sister how could he talk to anyone else......once you file papers you are at the mercy of the courts....once an "A" hole always an "A" hole.......
