I overheard Janet say "there's more to the story", but as far as I'm concerned, family is family is family. And that's what Lakeside has always been about. Unless your sister murdered your children, you just don't do something like this. Period.
We are all curious about what the "story" is. I've speculated about it in a previous post but i doubt he'll admit to racism, homophobia or whatever. If that's the story..bah to him. We can't think of a thing...otherwise. Course it's hard to know what he thinks is the truth. It's been heard around that he paid all the bills. (With the other owners money)...
Only he/they know their motives, all the rest of us can do is speculate, and I would prefer to deal with facts. I have my own ideas as to why, but for the time being they will remain mine.
Regardless of what his "reasons" were, we are STILL Lakesiders... and we're better at it than he ever was. Imagine the look on his face when we all end up at the lake at the same time. Sure, we'll probably be 'renters,' but the dining hall experience will be THAT much more fun when we are standing in line for our dinners. ;-)

We're all trying to figure out the motives behind this travesty, so why delete all the comments related to that exploration?
